Basketball Recap: Palmerton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Palisades

There's no place like home for Palmerton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Palisades Pirates by a score of 54-43 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Bombers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lincoln Cook and Blake Oglialoro certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cook posted 17 points, while Oglialoro had nine points and four steals.

Palmerton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Palisades, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Palmerton and Palisades could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Palmerton (ranked 479th) will meet Lehighton (ranked 129th) at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Similarly, Palisades (ranked 668th) will meet Notre Dame-Green Pond (ranked 74th) at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
