Volleyball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

If Eagle Ridge Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Colorado Springs Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-14.

Prospect Ridge Academy can attribute much of their success to DeLaney Ash, who had 11 assists and five aces. Ash is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least four every time she's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eagle Ridge Academy fell to 4-1. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Eagle Ridge Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ascent Classical Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
