Soccer Recap: Portland Comes Up Short

Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ionia Bulldogs.

Portland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ionia, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Portland will venture away from home to face off against Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ionia, they will welcome Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
