Volleyball Recap: Fort Collins Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fort Collins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fossil Ridge SaberCats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the SaberCats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-12.

Jacque Rojas paced Fort Collins' offense, picking up six kills. Rojas got some help from Josephine Rubenstein and her 15 assists. Caitlin Cripe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fort Collins' loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Fossil Ridge, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Fort Collins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Timnath on the 29th. As for Fossil Ridge, they will challenge Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
