Soccer Recap: Atkins Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Atkins was not quite Glenn's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell 5-3 to the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for Atkins in their meetings with Glenn: they've now lost five in a row.

Atkins hit Glenn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Altman, William Roehrenbeck, and Deigo Almaguer.

Atkins' defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Glenn, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-1-3.

Coming up, Atkins will challenge North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenn, they will square off against Mount Tabor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenn's defense better be ready for this one: Mount Tabor have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
