Recap: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Mosley Dolphins
If the Chiles Timberwolves were riding high off their 65-41 takedown of the Community Leadership Academy Lions last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Chiles fell to Mosley 62-57. While losing is never fun, Chiles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Mosley is ranked 103rd).
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Davis McNeely, who scored 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds. McNeely set a new season high mark in steals with four. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Parks, who scored 15 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mosley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Smith, who scored 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Raedyn Bruens was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds.
