Baseball Recap: Central Springs Comes Up Short

Central Springs lost against Forest City back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 9-3 to the Indians. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Forest City, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Central Springs will head out on the road to face off against Northwood-Kensett at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.33 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Forest City, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against West Hancock on the 6th.
