Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reagan). They put the hurt on the Parkland Mustangs with a sharp 9-0 victory on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Reagan considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Their offense was hitting Parkland from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Peyten Meleneck led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Reagan and bumps their season record up to 4-9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Parkland, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coming up, Reagan will face off against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parkland, they have already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against R.J. Reynolds on the 21st.
