Softball Recap: Covington Academy Bulldogs vs. Trinity Prep Lions
Covington Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Trinity Prep Lions. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Bryleigh Bragg spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 17 Ks.
