Volleyball Recap: Cannon Falls Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cannon Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Randolph Rockets by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 21-25, 25-13.

Katie Tipton was nothing short of spectacular: she had 20 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests. Abby Sjoblom also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Cannon Falls is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Randolph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannon Falls will venture away from home to square off against Lake City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randolph, they will face off against United South Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
