Baseball Recap: Keswick Christian Comes Up Short

Keswick Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Canterbury. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Canterbury this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Keswick Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Javan Gipson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Keswick Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Canterbury, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Keswick Christian will face off against Cambridge Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
