The Marquand-Zion Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-60 victory over Eagle Ridge Christian. The win was a breath of fresh air for Marquand-Zion as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Simpson and Caleb Margrabe certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Simpson scored 27 points, while Margrabe scored 19 points. Simpson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played.

Marquand-Zion's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marquand-Zion will challenge Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
