Oswego posted their closest victory since September 20th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Fredonia Yellowjackets 2-1. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Oswego got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-23.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up 15 kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her 26 assists. Trimble was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Oswego's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Fredonia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20-1.

Oswego didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Iola on the 27th. As for Fredonia, they will head out on the road to challenge Neodesha on Tuesday.
