Baseball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Takes a Loss

Northside - Pinetown came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Lawrence Academy Warriors. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Northside - Pinetown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holden Boykin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Northside - Pinetown has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Lawrence Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Northside - Pinetown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-4 victory against Lejeune on the 30th. As for Lawrence Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Albemarle School on the 29th.
