Softball Recap: Delta Falls Short Against Ranked Colony

Delta faced Colony in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies lost 13-1 to the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Leah Arroyo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Delta now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Colony, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-2.

Looking ahead, Delta will welcome North Pole at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colony, they will venture away from home to square off against Lathrop at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
