Basketball Recap: Lansdale Catholic Takes a Loss

Lansdale Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Father Judge Crusaders, falling 87-44. If Lansdale Catholic was looking for revenge after losing 71-43 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lansdale Catholic's record now sits at 7-13. As for Father Judge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lansdale Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Devon Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Devon Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Lansdale Catholic likes a good challenge. As for Father Judge, they are taking a road trip to take on St. Joseph's Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. St. Joseph's Prep is on a six-game streak of home wins, Father Judge a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
