Preview: Cotopaxi Pirates vs. Center Vikings
The Cotopaxi Pirates's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Center Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on February 17th. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.
Last Monday, Cotopaxi came up short against Springfield and fell 32-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cotopaxi has scored all season.

Meanwhile, Center's game on Friday was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 35-23 to Sanford. It was the first time this season that Center let down their fans at home.
Alicia Rios was Center's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Ximena Miranda held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Ciara Paiz took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Cotopaxi's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Center, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-7.
Saturday's contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Cotopaxi have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Center struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.3 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
