Volleyball Recap: Cadott Takes Down Augusta in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cadott had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Augusta Beavers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won nine in a row.

Cadott walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-11.

Haley Mathison paced Cadott's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mathison got some help from Karlee Davis and her 21 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Cadott's victory bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Augusta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.

As of now, neither Cadott nor the Beavers have any future games scheduled.
