Basketball Recap: Grand Lake Comes Up Short

If Grand Lake was riding high fresh off their 61-18 takedown of Elton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grand Lake Hornets fell 43-34 to the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Blue Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-42 back in January.

Grand Lake's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for St. Edmund, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Grand Lake nor St. Edmund have any future games scheduled.
