McArthur lost against Deerfield Beach back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The McArthur Mustangs took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deerfield Beach Bucks. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

McArthur lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Joshua Barber, who posted eight points along with ten boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonas Bonannee, who scored 13 points.

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Deerfield Beach, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

McArthur has already played their next game, a 54-50 defeat against Carol City on the 24th. As for Deerfield Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-38 victory against Coconut Creek on the 22nd.
