Football Game Preview: Ozark Tigers vs. Glendale Falcons

The Ozark Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Glendale Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ozark has given up an average of 39.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-28, which was the final score in Ozark's tilt against Lebanon on Friday. The Tigers were up 21-7 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Glendale, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They breezed past Waynesville to the tune of 44-14 on Friday.

Ozark better keep an eye on Trevor Heman. He was instrumental in Glendale's win, picking up 80 receiving yards and two TDs. Joelle Rover also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.

Ozark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Glendale, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Ozark and Glendale were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but Ozark came up empty-handed after a 22-21 loss. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Falcons' Cash Newberry, who threw for 313 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 63 yards.
