West Morris Mendham had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to the West Morris Central Wolfpack on the road by a 21-7 margin. The Minutemen have struggled against the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Rocco Racioppi threw for 141 yards while completing 83.3% of his passes. Thomas Guido was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards. On the ground, Owen Lieberwirth rushed for 42 yards.

West Morris Mendham and West Morris Central will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Minutemen will face off against rival Parsippany Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Morris Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Morris Knolls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
