Softball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Noblesville back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds lost 16-2 to the Millers.

Jayden Kleiner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Katherine Warren also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Noblesville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Carmel will take on New Palestine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Noblesville, they will square off against Lawrence North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Millers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
