Football Game Preview: Essex Tech Hawks vs. Triton Regional Vikings

Essex Tech hasn't had much luck against Triton Regional recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Essex Tech will be strutting in after a victory while Triton Regional will be coming in after a defeat.

Essex Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over Hamilton-Wenham Regional on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Triton Regional came up short against Newburyport on Friday and fell 28-21. The Vikings have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Essex Tech will need to focus on slowing down Carl Lucy, one of several Triton Regional players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 120 yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Everett Romano, who rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown.

Essex Tech now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Triton Regional, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
