Soccer Game Preview: Peach County vs. Monroe

The Peach County Trojans will challenge the Monroe Golden Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peach County will be strutting in after a win while Monroe will be coming in after a defeat.

Peach County took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Westover get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Peach County, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-1 to Cairo. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Monroe were already down 6-0.

Peach County's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went Peach County's way against Monroe in their previous meeting back in March, as Peach County made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Tornadoes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
