Basketball Recap: Choctaw County's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Choctaw County needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Caleb Cunningham. The Choctaw County Chargers enjoyed a cozy 57-42 victory over the Union Yellowjackets on Tuesday thanks in part to Cunningham, who posted 30 points along with six boards and five blocks. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayvion Lowery, who had six points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Choctaw County's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Choctaw County will head out to take on West Lowndes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Union, they will host Sebastopol at 9:50 a.m. on Thursday.
