Galena is a perfect 10-0 against Warren since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Galena has seven straight wins, Warren has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Galena beat Stockton 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Warren came up short against Dakota on Monday and fell 2-0.

While Warren was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23.

Galena's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Galena beat Warren 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
