Walker's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Denham Springs Yellowjackets 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 back in March.

Walker's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Denham Springs, they dropped their record down to 8-18 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Walker will take on John Curtis Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Denham Springs, they will challenge St. Amant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
