 Covenant Day is 2-7 against Charlotte Christian since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Covenant Day Lions will head out on the road to  challenge  the Charlotte Christian Knights at 4:30  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Covenant Day unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Monday. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Providence Day.

  Morgan Banks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Anna Hinde made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  home run the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Sydney Francois, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Covenant Day's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Charlotte Christian, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-4.

However, it's not like Charlotte Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.7. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
