Basketball Game Preview: Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack vs. MAST Academy Makos

The Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the MAST Academy Makos at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Schoolhouse Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.

On Wednesday, Schoolhouse Prep blew past Greater Miami Academy, posting a 77-36 win. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 32 points or more this season.

Hector Samaniego was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc Garcia, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, MAST Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 68-40 loss at the hands of Mourning.

The victory made it two in a row for Schoolhouse Prep and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for MAST Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
