Fremont came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Bellevue East Chieftains on Friday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chieftains, too.

Fremont got a great performance from Isaac Barton as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Barton has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Fremont's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brooks Eyler, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Fremont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
