The Seguin Matadors will square off against the Leander Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Meanwhile, Leander waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Unicorns.

Kylee Arnold made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Arnold was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Arnold wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
