Softball Game Preview: Byron-Bergen Bees vs. Webber Tigers

The Byron-Bergen Bees will face off against the Webber Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron-Bergen has given up an average of 13.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Byron-Bergen is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They lost 16-1 to Kendall.

Byron-Bergen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janessa Amesbury, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, while Webber put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Attica. The Tigers put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 18-0 win. That looming 18-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Webber and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Byron-Bergen, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Byron-Bergen suffered a grim 20-5 defeat to Webber in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Bees avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
