There's no place like home for Newton Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bristol Panthers on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Newton Falls' victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Abby Wolford, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Madalyn Knight was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Newton Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .714. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Newton Falls' record now sits at 7-10. As for Bristol, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Coming up, Newton Falls will head out to square off against Jackson-Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bristol, they will host St. John at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Herald will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
