Basketball Recap: Highlands Christian Takes a Loss

Highlands Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (60-57), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

When it comes to explaining why Highlands Christian lost, don't look at Angel Scomparin. Despite the final result, he posted 33 points. Scomparin's afternoon made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Shein, who scored ten points.

Highlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Aubrey Rogers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-11.

Highlands Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-65 loss against Southwest Florida Christian on the 4th. As for Aubrey Rogers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 81-73 win against Seacrest Country Day on the 4th.
