Volleyball Recap: Greendale Takes a Loss

Greendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hustlin' Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Xavier Zimmerman paced Greendale's offense, picking up 11 kills. Zimmerman got some help from Jakup Ademi and his 21 assists. William Rhodes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Greendale's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Greenfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Greendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shorewood on the 18th. As for Greenfield, after both having extra time off, they and West Allis Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
