Basketball Recap: Ascent Classical Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ascent Classical Academy had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels, falling 56-19. The loss continues a trend for the Guardians in their meetings with the Sentinels: they've now lost three in a row.

Vann Rogers was Ascent Classical Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Rogers also led the team in rebounds with four. Jack Colberg took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Luke Chronowski was a one-man wrecking crew For Golden View Classical Academy. as he shot 75% from the field on his way to 20 points. What's more, Chronowski also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Jacob Walker was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 10 points and eight assists.

Golden View Classical Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
