Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Harlem Huskies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the J-Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Harlem, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Belvidere North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harlem will challenge rival Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
