Dakota Ridge has gone a perfect 3-0 against Golden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dakota Ridge Eagles will welcome the Golden Demons at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Dakota Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Evergreen, taking the game 60-52. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Cougars are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Golden didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wheat Ridge on Friday, but they still walked away with a 64-60 win.

Dakota Ridge better keep an eye on Leif Hansen. He was instrumental in Golden's win, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. Hansen has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Paulson, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.

Golden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Dakota Ridge pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points over those games. As for Golden, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Dakota Ridge strolled past Golden in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 80-65. Will Dakota Ridge repeat their success, or does Golden have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
