Basketball Recap: Fleming County Takes a Loss

Fleming County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 79-64 bruising from the Rowan County Vikings. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Fleming County's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Rowan County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Fleming County has already played their next matchup (against Bourbon County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rowan County will head out to take on Johnson Central on Saturday. Johnson Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
