Basketball Recap: Homer Falls Short of Kenai Central in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Homer can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kenai Central Kardinals by a score of 36-34 on Thursday. The Mariners' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Kenai Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Homer nor Kenai Central have any future games scheduled.
