Volleyball Recap: Nashville Christian Comes Up Short

Nashville Christian suffered their biggest defeat since September 30, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Friendship Christian Commanders, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Commanders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-9.

Kyla Scharfman had an outrageously good game for Friendship Christian as she had 15 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Scharfman a new career-high.

Nashville Christian now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Friendship Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Nashville Christian will take on Goodpasture Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Friendship Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trousdale County at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
