Palmyra won the last time they faced Northern York and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Polar Bears by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Palmyra had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.

Northern York's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Allen, who had five digs and two blocks, and Ty Witmer, who had 13 digs and one assist. Allen is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

Palmyra's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Northern York, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palmyra will face off against rival Lower Dauphin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northern York is set to challenge their familiar foe Mechanicsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
