Volleyball Game Preview: Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars vs. Howard Eagles

Rocky Mount Prep is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Howard a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars will look to defend their home court against the Howard Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Rocky Mount Prep lost 3-0 to North East Carolina Prep on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Howard didn't have quite enough to beat North East Carolina Prep on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-16 in the first set.

Howard actually scored more points across those five sets (99-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-19, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rocky Mount Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
