Volleyball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coon Rapids can now relate to. They came up short against the Centennial Cougars on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

While Coon Rapids ultimately came up short, they really made Centennial work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-7, 28-26.

Coon Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 10-20-2. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Coon Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will challenge Forest Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
