Princeton was handed a 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Johnston Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since March 11th.

Princeton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Gurley, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Princeton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for North Johnston, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4.

As for North Johnston, they will take on Spring Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
