Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Hillcrest Huskies lost 3-0 to the Lehi Pioneers on Thursday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-19.

Nola Bonner paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up five kills. Bonner got some help from Jane Thomas and her 14 assists.

Paige Wakumoto produced another solid performance getting 16 digs and three aces for Lehi. Wakumoto has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lehi, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Hillcrest and Lehi will both be playing Cyprus the next time they take the court. The Pioneers will host the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Huskies will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
