Volleyball Recap: Homestead Comes Up Short

Homestead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunset Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on March 4th.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sunset, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Divine Savior Academy on the 21st. As for Sunset, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Coral Park on the 21st.
