Volleyball Recap: Spring Lake Park Panthers vs. Andover Huskies
Spring Lake Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Andover Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
Andover can attribute much of their success to Addison Vokaty, who had eight digs.
Spring Lake Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Andover, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers challenges Coon Rapids at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Andover has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Big Lake on the 12th.
