Otis had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Loveland Classical Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Otis got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-11, 24-26, 15-8.

Aedyn Tribelhorn paced Otis' offense, picking up 27 kills. Tribelhorn got some help from Crysten Goble and her 46 assists. Tribelhorn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Otis' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Loveland Classical, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Otis has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Akron on the 27th. As for Loveland Classical, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Poudre Community Academy on the 29th.
